The project consists of a hospice house building, separate administration building and chapel on the same site. Portions of the site have been reserved for a future additional hospice house building and an administrative/ bereavement counseling building. The hospice house building includes 11 patient rooms, supplemental patient care areas, nurses’ station, staff work and meeting areas. Ancillary storage, catered food staging and other functional space related to the hospice function are made part of the building as well. Also included within this building are family areas for the comfort of patient visitors. The administration building consists primarily of offices and other ancillary space required for the administrative and bereavement counseling function of the campus. Other necessary areas include break and coffee areas, workrooms, staff toilet areas and meeting space. Public areas consisting of a childcare area as well as public meeting space are provided in the building to supplement the community care mission of the organization.
